Jordan Valley Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Springfield Missouri, is seeking a full-time clinical child or pediatric psychologist who is experienced in working in a medical setting.  The successful candidate must have received their doctorate from an APA accredited program in clinical psychology, completed an APA-approved internship, and be licensed (or license eligible) in Missouri. Post-doctoral or other appropriate training in child psychology and behavioral therapy is highly encouraged.  Must have experience with diagnostic evaluations, assessments, brief interventions, evidence-supported therapy for families and children (especially ages five through 16), and effective consultation skills.  Will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a primary care / dental setting that serves a predominately low-income population. Most common presenting complaints include questions regarding differential diagnosis, ADHD, oppositional disorder, affective disorders, anxiety, and attachment disorders; knowledge regarding pharmacotherapy for childhood disorders is expected.  Persons with bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.
