Pharmacy
Our in-house pharmacy provides medications and expert education in a convenient location. Having a pharmacy located within our clinic on Tampa Street allows individuals to receive their medications at the same time the receive their healthcare. The pharmacy is open Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m, and Saturday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Our Healthy Start
Pregnancy is the start of a new chapter in your family's life. A good start begins with good choices, and we hope you'll choose Our Healthy Start at Jordan Valley Community Health Center. With Our Healthy Start, you have the option to receive your prenatal care in a group. Our Healthy Start prenatal care provides both your regular check-ups and all the self-care and education you need for a healthy pregnancy and child. We offer not only prenatal care at Our Healthy Start, but we also care for your children after delivery, and your other women's health needs like annual exams and planning for your family.
Urgent Dental Center
This dental center provides care to individuals with acute dental issues. Receiving referrals from regional hospital emergency rooms, the center is able to treat a variety of acute dental issues, while maintaining affordability for the patient.
Dental Surgical Center
The surgical center allows overly anxious children and adults to be treated without a risk of harming themselves or the providers through the use of general anesthesia. This center has three state-of-the-art surgical suites, and is staffed by an anesthesiologist from the Ozarks Anesthesia Association, along with Jordan Valley dentists, oral surgeons, registered nurses and dental assistants.
Vision Services
Our vision program provides a valuable service, providing a more complete healthcare home. Vision services are provided by optometrists right inside of our Tampa facility. The vision clinic is open every Wednesday and accepts established patients at Jordan Valley and individuals that are new to Jordan Valley.
Mobile Dental Unit
Our mobile unit visits 24 rural schools, providing care to over 1,100 children each year. The unit is equipped with two fully functioning dental operatories, allowing our providers to treat most dental needs.
Care to Give
As a thank-you to our community, we are able provide free dental care to adults at regular intervals throughout the year, reaching individuals who would normally not receive the dental treatment they need.
L.I.N.K.
Let’s Invest Now in Kids is a partnership between Jordan Valley, Springfield Public Schools and the Springfield/Greene County Health Department that places a pediatric nurse practitioner in 10 schools, providing primary care to students. This program helps keep children in school and healthy.
C.A.L.M.
Childhood Asthma Linkages in Missouri, a Missouri Foundation for Health partially-funded program, allows a Jordan Valley pediatric nurse practitioner to partner with Springfield Public Schools to provide asthma management and self-management education. This community collaboration also involves the Springfield/Greene County Health Department and Missouri State University, and provides comprehensive self management both with the student and the family to improve health outcomes for children with asthma.
S.A.G.MO
Smiles Across Greater Missouri, partially funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health, provides oral hygiene care and education by a Jordan Valley dental hygienist in Southwest Missouri schools. This program helps ensure students maintain healthy mouths by providing oral hygiene education and dental sealants, along with enhancing access to treatment through our dental clinic.
B.S.M.O.D.
The Better Self Management of Diabetes program, receiving partial funding from the Missouri Foundation for Health, has helped create a diabetes self-management and education program for Jordan Valley. This program provides self-management education for patients with diabetes, as well as lifestyle management education, to prevent diabetes not only within our medical clinic but also with numerous community partners.
Show Me Healthy Women & WISEWOMAN
Jordan Valley is a provider for these integral programs that provide access to women’s health and heart health care. The Show Me Healthy Women program provides pap smears, cervical exams, and mammograms free of charge, while the WISEWOMAN program provides free labs and lifestyle management counseling.
